Beto O’Rourke ran for office in 2018 and 2020. His campaigns were characterized by an energetic and inclusive approach, captivating voters of all ages.

ROLE: ART DIRECTION, GRAPHIC DESIGN (SOCIAL, DISPLAY, PRINT, MOTION)
AGENCY: REVOLUTION MESSAGING, MIDDLE SEAT
TEAM: ARUN CHAUDHARY, DREW MCCONVILLE

I spent the majority of 2017 through 2019 working with Beto O’Rourke on both of his groundbreaking campaign bids for the Senate in 2018 and for President of the United States in 2020. I worked on hundreds of unique designs across various platforms and mediums in both print and digital. Being the lead digital designer for a Senate campaign entailed a pivotal role in shaping the campaign's online presence and visual identity. That meant creating engaging and cohesive digital assets, from social media graphics to print ads to email campaigns. The role would involve translating the candidate's message into visually compelling content, fostering a connection with the audience, and contributing to the overall narrative of the campaign. Additionally, as a lead digital designer, the responsibility would extend to ensuring that the digital materials align with the campaign's strategy, values, and resonate with voters, playing a crucial part in the campaign's outreach and communication efforts.
